My 08/14/11 CVS Trip

Went to CVS today, because I needed some more soft drinks. They had them on sale for 4/$10, which is a great deal, b/c it's $2.50 a 12-pack. Well here is my list of stuff in the picture:

I used a $5/$25 CVS Coupon, and got two coupons for free Caramello Candy Bar and CVS Bandaids, free coupon from MinuteClinic CVS FB page, and used a $1.50 ECB from my quarterly earnings. 

I also got back $5.00 ECB for buying the 5 bottles of Gatorade, and $4.00 ECB for buying $10.00 worth of Sally Hansen Nail Polish/Nail Care stuff.  =)



Be the Chef with Chef Boyardee & It's All Fun 'N Games House Party

I just applied to be a host on HouseParty for "Be the Chef with Chef Boyardee". I hope I get it!!!  My kids goes through loads of these, whether they are Spaghetthi & Meatballs or Ravioli!  It's a easy and simple, when you are too busy to make a full course meal for lunch or dinner.  I even enjoy eating the Spaghetthi & Meatball one. LOL.

I also applied for "It's All Fun 'N Games" House Party, b/c I know my husband enjoys board games and we are always look for something new to play. Maybe we can win this one and add it to our board game collection?

Cannot believe my baby boy will be "1" soon!

Liam will be "1" in a month and already I'm excited about planning his very "1st" birthday party! To me, the first birthday is the most special. Well, actually all birthdays are special, but the very first one, always means a little more. In the past three months, Liam went from just rolling around, to crawling, to sitting up, and now he is standing up by holding on to furniture and things. It's amazing how a year can fly by in a blink of an eye!  So here I am, looking at a theme for his birthday and what better theme, than "Winnie The Pooh First Birthday" decorations? It's so cute!!! You can't go wrong with that theme!

We still don't know many people here, so we aren't going to have a mile long list of people to invite. And we really don't have family here, besides my parents and brother in Georgia. All of my husband's family is up North in Pennsylvania, so I know they won't be able to come, which kind of depresses me some, but I'll get through it. But at least I know that my best friend, her boyfriend, her kids and his kid, will be able to come and celebrate this special time with us.

Liam was born on September 10, 2010 at 6:00 a.m., weighing in at 7lbs 12oz. I remember hearing him cry, made tears roll down my eyes, b/c I had to have another c-section and I couldn't see him, but I could hear him. The look on my husband's face was priceless, and I don't think I will ever forget the happiness I felt in my heart to see him hold our son for the very first time. And now here we are, almost a year later and we couldn't be any happier.

I love my kids, husband, and family and I can't wait to celebrate our son's "1st" birthday!



Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers

I've been given an opportunity to sample from Crunchmaster through Moms Meet and I can't wait to share this with other moms. My Thoughts

So I wanted to review a product for a company and their response was, that they were a small company with an even smaller budget to provide products to people that have personal blogs to a small fanbase. Let's see, I am a Mom to 3 kids, ages 11 months to 8 years old and a stepmom to a 8 and 9 year old. Our budget is VERY limited, because my husband is the only working to provide for our family, but if I think the product is worth it, I will spend the extra money for our kids. So with that in mind, it made my mind start turning. If it wasn't for loyal customers like us, small companies like them probably wouldn't exist. And considering how bad the economy is and how much stocks is going down, I might just save that money that I have been spending on their products, on something else for my kids.  So on to a new project.

I did my webinar today for Kashi & Moms Meet and I can't wait to get the products in to share and try with other moms!

Here is some of the stuff that I've gotten between last Tuesday and today!

I got my free babysling from SevenSlings.com and all I had to do was pay S&H. They had a special promotion going on, when I got mine. They normally retail for over $40. I also got my coupon for a FREE Nestle Drumstick Cone, a sample of the new Downy Unstoppables, a Huggies Potty Training Sucess DVD, sample & coupon for Loreal YouthCode, sample & coupon for Garnier Moisture Rescue, sample of thin silky floss from Dentek, and coupons from VocalPoint for Motts for Tots juice and free coupon from Fresh Express Salad w/salad clip and $1.00 coupons for their salads. This was a pretty good week of Free Goodies!!! I also got a sample box of Honey Nut Cheerios w/a coupon that I left out of the pic. =)

Our Norton Back-To-School House Party

We had our Norton House Party yesterday and it was great! The kids played Norton Bingo and won doorprizes. Overall, it was a great experience and I really enjoyed being a host!

TAX FREE WEEKEND IN AL 08/05/11-08/07/11

Today was the beginning of the TAX FREE WEEKEND in AL. This applies to anything school related like: clothes, school supplies, computer/laptops, and etc.  It was definitely a success for me and the kids.  I finished up anything that haven't gotten, today.  I got Chance a pair to back to school shoes from the Burlington Coat Factory for $29.99(Skechers). Then went to The Children's Place(my all time favorite store, b/c they always have their clothes on sale and there is always a coupon available to get an even deeper discount on their clothing). Got two pairs of jeans which were Reg. $19.50 for $12 each and used my $5 Blue Buck from my previous in-store purchase the last weekend and the total came up to only $19! Not bad for two pairs of good quality jeans. =)  Then we went to Kohl's, where my hubby got two t-shirts, then I got a onesie for our 11 month old son and I got a babyshower gift(3 pc onesie outfit) for less than $24, when it would of normally costed us over $90, if the items weren't on sale or on clearance. I also used a 20% coupon on this trip. We grabbed lunch at a place called Cheeburger Cheeburger for lunch and I was able to use my discount card to save 10% on our meal, then we went to Wal-Mart and finished our shopping there.  Overall, today was a GREAT day!!!

FLORIDA will have their TAX FREE WEEKEND next weekend, for those that want to save some $!

This was an AWESOME score of stuff from FB Giveaways!!!!!  Now just have to see what else comes in this week. =)
